More information:
In order to be evaluated for admission on the basis of formal competence, the applicant must show documentation on completed upper secondary education. The school is using the GSU-list as a standard means of evaluating education outside Norway, but is not fully bound to this. This means that some foreign applicants must show 1-2 years of college education in addition to having completed upper secondary education. For example, applicants from the Philippines normally need two years of college in addition to completed upper secondary education, while applicants from Ghana normally need one year or college in addition to upper secondary school. Please contact the school for more information on this if necessary.
In order to be evaluated for admission on the basis of real life experience ("realkompetanse"), the applicant must be over the age of 19 and show documentation of equivalency of minimum 3 years real life experience in the form of work, volunteer involvement, educational experience etc. Please see OIBC Admission Regulation for more information.
Applicants from abroad must demonstrate English language competency in the form of an international language test (TEOFL, IELTS, etc.), documented proven English skills by former education and/or experience, or by passing OIBC´s own English Language Test. Please contact the school for more information if necessary.
