The Church and Organizational Leadership track will prepare you for various leadership roles in a church and Christian organization setting. This area of practical concentration is designed for those who would like to become involved in pastoral leadership, in youth and children ministry, and as church and organizational administrators.
In this track, you will train in various areas related to being in various key church and organization leadership positions. This includes areas such as pastoral care, management, preaching and communication, value based leadership and more. This track seeks to foster leaders who would be passionate about the task of leadership, consciously aware of their own and others´ resources, have a balanced theology and practice, and uniquely personal, innovative and creative in their style as they seek to be leaders of integrity in church and society as they love and serve people in Christlike ways.
There is a great need for leaders in churches, organizations and in society in general. It is said that leadership is not easy - but good leadership makes all the difference in the world. The healthy future of any church or organization hinges on good and sound leadership. Therefore, OIBC seeks to support, train, encourage and equip those who accept this call - so that they in turn can become "world changers" in each of the worlds they would represent! We encourage you also to consider becoming the leader only you can become!
