The vision of Oslo International Bible College (OIBC) is to train future leaders for churches, Christian organizations and for society in general, both in Norway and in the nations of the world. OIBC believes in training knowledgable, competent, skilled and passionate leaders to serve in various fashions, whether as pastors, youth- and children´s workers, media persons, music leaders or missionaries home or away. OIBC believes in the individual and that each person is unique in finding his or her unique role and place of service and thus be a positive agent of change in this world. OIBC is confident that its graduates will be able to fill important needs in church and society around the world who with integrity and effectiveness will communicate and demonstrate Christian leadership, values and lifestyle in relevant and life-changing ways.
Oslo International BIble College (OIBC) started as a 2-year tertiary level vocational college program in the fall of 2010. It was accredited by NOKUT (Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education) in April 2010 and officially converted from being a one-year so-called 6A Bible school to a vocational Bible college on July 1, 2010 . The school was later better known as Oslo International Bible School (OIBS). The school started with just a handful students before it was approved by the Norwegian department of education to have up to 30 students. Later the number of students was increased to 95 students. The last 8-10 years the school developed to get an increasing number of international and multicultural students. In June 2010, the school was approved for having 150 students.
